Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a reputable client in Pittsfield, MA, seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist specializing in Home Health. Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients in a home health setting.
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs.
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and strategies to enhance recovery.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Adhere to all state and federal regulations and professional standards.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a home health setting.
- CPR certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
