Job Description

As a Travel Scrub Technician, you will:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating their needs.
• Maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective procedures.
• Follow facility protocols and guidelines for infection control and patient care.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (required).
• Minimum of 1 year of scrub tech experience, including in acute care settings (preferred).
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in maintaining a sterile field and adhering to surgical protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
