As a Travel Ultrasound Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a cohesive and supportive team environment. Working the night shift, you’ll perform imaging procedures, including:
- General ultrasound imaging
- Anatomy scans
- OB/GYN examinations
- Breast ultrasounds
- Vascular imaging
- ED exams
Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a critical access setting, where adaptability and teamwork are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure accurate diagnostic results
- Document findings and maintain patient records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Provide compassionate care to patients
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technician program
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required
- State licensure (as applicable)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred, including imaging, OB/GYN, vascular, and ED settings
