Travel Speech Language Pathologist - Windsor, VT
Duration: 13 Weeks
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is excited to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Windsor, VT, in search of a highly skilled Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while exploring the beautiful Vermont area.
Job Description:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve communication and swallowing.
- Utilize state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to track progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records according to facility standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with best practices in speech-language pathology.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Vermont SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience (travel experience a plus).
- Current CPR certification.
