Job Description

• Assist surgeons and nursing teams during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and available
• Maintain a sterile field during surgeries and adhere to aseptic techniques
• Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and medications
• Monitor patient safety and communicate with surgical team as needed
• Ensure post-operative equipment disinfection and cleanup
• Document procedures and follow hospital protocols

Education and Certification Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree in Surgical Technology preferred
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an operating room setting

• Strong understanding of surgical instruments and procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
