Job Description:

• Assist surgeons during operations by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for surgery, hand instruments and supplies to surgeons and assistants, and pass instruments and supplies as needed.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all surgical equipment is functioning properly.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
