Travel Ultrasound Technician – 10-Hour Night Shifts – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Connected Health Care is partnering with a reputable healthcare facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to find a Travel Ultrasound Technician for 10-hour night shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced technicians to provide diagnostic ultrasound services, particularly in pediatric sonography, and work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Job Description:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasounds for pediatric patients, including abdominal, pelvic, and vascular imaging.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain images and record relevant data.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess and interpret ultrasound results.
• Provide clear and compassionate communication with pediatric patients and their families.
• Maintain patient records and imaging reports accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Assist with other diagnostic imaging procedures as needed.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year recognized AMA or AMA equivalent allied health program in Diagnostic Ultrasound required.
• Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification required.
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Required Experience:

• 1 year of recent experience in Pediatric Sonography required.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, procedures, and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in a pediatric setting, to provide clear instructions and support.
