Job Description
Travel Ultrasound Technologist in Coquille, OR
Company: Connected Health Care
Location: Coquille, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Compensation: Up to $2,800/week based on experience
Job Description:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and produce images for interpretation by physicians.
- Ensure the proper positioning of patients to obtain the best diagnostic results.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain imaging equipment in optimal condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures to patients and their families.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Certification:
- Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification.
- Current and unrestricted Ultrasound Technologist license in Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
