Local Triage Clerk – Days - Philadelphia, PA
Contract Length: 10 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,050 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Triage Clerk for a 10-week local contract with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment and support vital administrative functions in patient care delivery.

Job Description:

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers in a clinical triage setting

• Answer incoming calls, assess urgency, and route appropriately to nursing staff or physicians

• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

• Schedule patient appointments and assist with referral coordination

• Ensure timely communication between departments and providers to support clinical workflow

• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry as needed

Education and Certification Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred

• Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
