Local Triage Clerk – Days - Philadelphia, PA
Contract Length: 10 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,050 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Triage Clerk for a 10-week local contract with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment and support vital administrative functions in patient care delivery.
Job Description:

Serve as the first point of contact for patients and providers in a clinical triage setting

Answer incoming calls, assess urgency, and route appropriately to nursing staff or physicians

Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)

Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Schedule patient appointments and assist with referral coordination

Ensure timely communication between departments and providers to support clinical workflow

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry as needed
Education and Certification Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Prior experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred

Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
