Job Description:
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a critical access hospital near Rochester, IN to hire an experienced Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This is a great opportunity for professionals looking to expand their skills in a dynamic rural healthcare setting. The ideal candidate is confident in general respiratory care, ventilator management, and emergency protocols.
As a vital part of the patient care team, the RRT will work independently and collaboratively with nursing and physician staff to provide life-saving respiratory interventions.
Responsibilities:

Deliver respiratory therapy services per physician orders
-
Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory disorders
-
Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and other respiratory equipment
-
Respond promptly to emergency calls such as codes and rapid response events
-
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
Qualifications:
-
Active RRT Credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
-
BLS Certification Required
-
ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred (or willing to obtain upon assignment)

Minimum 1 year of recent hospital experience
-
Proficient in ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, ABGs, and emergency care procedures
-
Ability to adapt quickly in a rural/critical access hospital setting
