Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our client’s team in Flagstaff, AZ, on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound exams, working closely with physicians and patients to ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnoses. This position offers a great work-life balance in one of the most scenic areas in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging exams, including abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric/gynecological scans.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality images for physicians to assess and diagnose conditions.
• Prepare patients for exams, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain patient records, ensuring all exams are properly documented.
• Work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to discuss findings and support patient care.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, reporting any issues to the appropriate team members.
• Provide excellent patient care with empathy and professionalism.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Certification in ultrasound technology (ARDMS or equivalent).
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist preferred.
• Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, and OB/GYN exams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent patient care.
