Ultrasound Technician - Travel Contract - $2,160/wk

Location: Concord, NC, 28025, US

Pay Rate: $60 per hour
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule: Wed-Fri, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Schedule Type: Night Shift
Certification/Licensure Required: ARDMS or ARRT in Sonography, BLS

Job Summary:
As an Ultrasound Technician! In this role, you'll prioritize and coordinate ultrasound exams, perform procedures according to protocols, and provide exceptional patient care.

Assignment Details:
Cabarrus offers a challenging environment with a high acuity patient population. OB experience and in-patient experience are required.

Essential Functions:

• Verify orders and conduct ultrasound exams
• Assist Radiologist in invasive procedures
• Maintain technical quality of exams
• Support the Patient-Centered Care Philosophy
• Report equipment malfunctions
• Operate Radiology computer system

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move patients, equipment, and supplies up to 600 pounds with assistance
• Perform walking, standing, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Utilize mental skills to comprehend patient orders and technical materials
• Coordinate motor skills to operate equipment
• Maintain intact sense of sight and hearing

Skills Required:

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S)
• BLS HCP certification from AHA
• Strong interpersonal skills

Education:
Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program preferred
