Travel Laboratory Manager – Junction, TX - Permanent Role
13-Week Contract | Day Shift | 5x8s | Up to $50/hr (DOE)
Connected Health Care, an Austin-based recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a Critical Access Hospital near Junction, Texas seeking an experienced Travel Laboratory Manager to join their high-complexity lab. Position Overview
As the Laboratory Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations in a high-complexity lab, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant testing across all departments. This position requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to mentor a small, cross-trained team in a critical access setting.

Day Shift | 5x8s | 40 hours/week

Competitive Pay: Up to $50/hr, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
-
Supervise and manage daily operations of the clinical laboratory
-
Maintain CLIA, CAP, COLA, and other regulatory compliance standards
-
Perform and oversee high-complexity testing and quality assurance
-
Train, evaluate, and support laboratory staff

Ensure equipment maintenance and performance verification
-
Collaborate with hospital leadership and providers to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field required
-
Certification: ASCP or AMT (or equivalent) required

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of clinical laboratory experience, including leadership or supervisory experience

Licensure: Must meet CLIA high-complexity testing requirements

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
