Job Description

School Nurse (LVN or RN) – Las Vegas, NV
Contract Length: 34 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $44/hr (LVN) | Up to $54/hr (RN) – Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm specializing in Healthcare and Educational Services, is excited to partner with an Educational Services client to bring on a dedicated School Nurse in the Las Vegas, NV area. If you are a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) looking to make a difference in students’ lives, this opportunity is for you!

Job Description

  • Provide direct healthcare services to students and staff during school hours

  • Administer first aid, medications, and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions among students

  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and district regulations

  • Promote a healthy school environment through education and wellness initiatives

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student health needs

  • Assist with health screenings, immunization compliance, and emergency care plans

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Active LVN or RN license in the state of Nevada (required)

  • Current CPR/BLS certification

  • Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently while being a team player
