Part-time School Psychological Therapist – Las Vegas, NV
Contract Length: 34 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $58/hr – Based on Experience

This part-time role is perfect for professionals passionate about supporting students’ mental health and helping them succeed academically and emotionally.

Job Description

  • Provide counseling and therapeutic support services to students in individual and group settings

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and social needs

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster student success

  • Provide crisis intervention and support when needed

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality guidelines

  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning

Education and Certification Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, School Psychology, Counseling, or a related field

  • Current state licensure/certification as a School Psychological Therapist or related credential in Nevada

  • Prior experience in a school or child-focused environment strongly preferred

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work part-time on a consistent schedule
