Job Description:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the process and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images.
• Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met to protect patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists to determine the proper examination and optimize test results.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Assist in the administration of contrast media under the direction of a physician.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to requests for emergency radiologic services.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Valid state license to practice radiologic technology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proven experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a travel or acute care setting.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in various imaging modalities.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
