Day Shift X-Ray Technologist – Norman, OK

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently partnered with a top-tier healthcare facility in Norman, Oklahoma, seeking a Day Shift X-Ray Technologist. Job Description:

• Operate X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
• Prepare and position patients for X-rays, ensuring proper exposure and safety measures
• Collaborate with physicians to analyze imaging results
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained and follow radiation safety guidelines
• Provide exceptional patient care and respond to inquiries or concerns during the imaging process

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• ARRT certification required
• Valid state licensure as an X-ray technologist
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• 1+ years of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
